DRAW!
A downloadable game
In the chaos that followed the end of that Accursed War, the already lawless territories have descended into a morass of bloodshed and deviltry.
It has fallen to Retribunals such as yourself, brought back into the living fold from that far country, to hunt down the murderers, war criminals and uneasy dead that haunt these lands.
The revival church pays handsomely for each bounty you bring in, and with some luck and a lot of lead, you may even pay off the debt that came with your resurrection.
Saddle up, there's killing work to be done.

DRAW! Is a small-scale, solo TTRPG, based on the Firelights engine by René-Pier Deshaies, and modified to allow for high-tension duels in a dark and mythical version of the old west.
In this pamphlet game you will choose one of three doomed gunslingers, and set out on your mount in search of bounties to bring in and clear your debt.
Drawn cards will give you a sense of the landscape, helping you fill in your own unique map of the territories.
Face cards are your bounties though, that you'll have to face down in a chaotic melee, with a chance of them giving you the slip, or you can call 'em out, and put 'em in the ground with Draw!'s unique, blackjack based, dueling engine.
Failure will lead to you being Lost, but the revivalists will bring you back, and add a hefty amount to your debt. Can you wipe the slate clean and free your soul?
We play to find out.

DRAW! requires this game, a standard poker deck with no jokers, 2 six-sided dice, a playing piece, and something to write with and on.

Greetings! Just played my first game and liked it a lot! I think I was confused on a few rules though:
1. Every round do you have to take the Traveler action to move to another space? I assume so, but didn't know if you could just choose to move 1 space.
2. When you compare your score + bonuses to the two cards are you comparing to the TOTAL of the two cards or EACH CARD separately? Most of the time, in other games, you're trying to beat the combined score and I played it that way. However, the "If your score beats one of the cards" makes me think you compare against each card separately which would have definitely kept me alive longer, lol.
Thanks for any info you can share. Fun game! Great theme and look!
Hello, my apologies for the delay on this.
1.) You only have to roll the Traveler action when moving into an unmarked space, though nothing prevents you from doing so to add new information to a previously explored space.
2.)Each card separately. Both cards together sounds like some seriously New Game+ type stuff though! Good luck!
The art is incredible, and Firelight seems a decent and light rule. But I was expecting a lot more text, prompt and stuff to bring these stories to life. And all art are really small.
Anyway, good job
Thank you, I'm sorry if it was overly dense. I'd love to bring this one to a larger format sometime.
I am loving the look of this game! I've not played a Firelights game before & I have a question. When it says "roll + Approach" does that mean I get to choose which Approach I use?
Correct! It's a solo/journalling game, so you get to be, and have to be the judge, jury and executioner!
